英语故事
Barnaby the badger lived in a sprawl of a burrow, not unlike a tiny town. His greatest amusement was observing the humans who walked by his home. One day, he saw a woman drop a small bottle near the entrance to the local pharmacy. Barnaby, being a curious sort, waddled over. The bottle contained colorful pills. He sniffed them – they smelled sweet, an irresistible scent. He thought, 'Perhaps this is a new kind of berry!' He was a casual observer of human affairs, not prone to deep thought, and his understanding of medicine was quite shallow. He didn't consider the possibility of poison, nor did he recognize the woman as a rival collector of shiny objects, for whom the pills might have been intended. He nudged the bottle with his nose, but it rolled away, much to his mild disappointment. He then returned to his burrow, his philosophical musings on the nature of dropped objects concluded.
